ADSL problems in Cape Town?

Hi guys

Just got ADSL last friday... Is anyone else in Cape Town experiencing problems? I heard from someone that Telkom's DNS servers are a bit 'up and down'. I'm using a Netgear DG632 with the latest firmware. I woke up this morning and our connection was dead. I rebooted the router and it worked fine for about 5 minutes and then died again. I'm in Wynberg and using an Axxess 30gig account.

yep our exchange got sabotaged according to telkom yesterday, some guys broke in and cut the mainhub wires.. only got on again a hour ago

Nope, I'm fine here - I think the exchange is in Plumstead - quite far from Constantia...
