Greetings all Unhappu adsl users.
Yes i too have 2 adsl lines that is down, and before i start with this article i would like to apologise for my lanuage, i would like to blame telkom for pushing me to this level of lanuage usage.
on the 11th feb i called the adsl helpdesk, they told me that my lines were fine and that i need to reboot my equipment, i kept the telkom technician (Fu*king Idiot) on the phone. I rebooted, and got the same problem.
This person "who has now been renamed to FI (Fu*king Idiot) then tested the line and told me the line is fine and that i need to replace my equipment.
Well, seeing after all the lightning, it is a possibility. So the next day i bought 2 new routers and installed them.
No surprise, i got the same problem, so i called them again, This FI that answered the phone then told me that the entire centurion has a link problem and that i do not need to log a call bacause it is a network failure, I believed this FI and decided to wait.
The next day (13Feb) i just about had it with them, i demanded to log a call, i got my 2 calls logged and use told that they will mark it as urgent(BULLSHI*T). Later that night i called again to find out what is happening with my call. I was told that they are waiting for a technician. Well the technician appeared just after 08:00 the next morning(Most probably fell asleep in the computer room), so this technician also tested my line. He then died and gone to heaven, cause nobody know what happend to the result.
I was so furious that i put the phone down.
Later on the 14th i called again, and after 23Min on hold some IO (Incompetent Operator) picked up the phone, this person told me that there is a network failure, and quoted a ref of 15atk140206 and that it has been reported to management. At last i said, Telkom relised that they have a problem. I was hoping that M-A-N-A-G-E-M-E-N-T woudl do something about it. Ohhh i was wrong.
As we enter the 4th day of being down, and after the 8th call the telkom, i demanded to speak to MANAGEMENT. I was blocked my another person who told me that the EldoGlen DSLAM is faulty. (Tell me something i do not know) again she told me that this issue has been escalated.
As i sit here i can only think of a couple of words "Telkom you are Fu*king pathetic" it take them 3 days to reliase that they have a DSLAM problem. Useless bunch of IDIOTS, i thought they have network management. Oh I forgot that are goverment owned and dont give a "some word that become a sentince that is to vulger to utter on this forum" about the customer.
So telkom, (i know your are reading this forum) take your ADSL Service and suv it right up your Goverment owned ASS. I have already send my fax to your durban office for cancellation.
I found new services, and a company that care about their customers. All for one, Sentech offerred BIZbet, i will now move all my Diginets (2*512kb, 4*64kbs) to them. Even if sentech has problems with the new service, i am willing to live with it, They even call me back regaring the fault service.
