ADSL problems in Protea Heights (Brackenfell)

My number is 021981. I have a 2 Mbps uncapped line with TELKOM internet and when doing the speed test I NEVER get more than 1.2 Mbps. In the evening I dont even get 0.8 Mbps and sometimes even less than 0.4 Mbps.

Also on a 021981 number and things have been going downhill since December last year. At the moment a 4 Mbps sync is impossible with the downstream SNR falling below 6. Max stable-ish sync is 3.7 Mbps.

I hope the FTTH coverage that ends just up the street will be extended in the near future.
