ADSL Problems in Rondebosch

Another outage for me. Last night (Thu 12th Feb) my PPP link went down at about 7:15pm - so as they told me ... I tried to call the ISP side of things this time. Was on hold for ages then had to go give up as was heading out. It appears to have come back on at about 10:15pm
Do people in Rondebosch who are having issues have no.s starting with 686? 2 friends who live about 300m from me have not had one outage and they are 685 no.s so I'm wondering if that is a commonality.
 
Damn Damn Damn Damn - now I've been down for over 36 hours and they have said it is a line fault and with testing section who may not work on weekends.
Here's a joke for the day .... I'll ask for discount on my monthly subs cause I couldn't use it as it was down ... yeah right !!! What are the chances - less than ZERO.
 
I've now been down since Friday. Telkom are going to get it in a few minutes when I call them to have a fat moan.
 
Mine has been up and down for more than a week now, staying close to bothasig (far from rondebosch)..

And telkom says nothing is wrong with my line....

Could the problems in rondebosch be related to mine?
 
My ADSL came back up in the past hour or so (so around 6pm on Monday 16th Feb). Hope it is now up for good. Still think I will call 0800-600126 and try get some money back for the days I was down.
