It looks like Telkom's stranglehold on ADSL will cost us consumers dearly because they have a monopoly on the local loop and when it comes to innovation and lower pricings they are like dead ducks in a pond. The international bandwidth issues seems to be coming to an end soon. I bet wireless/mobile will probably become much cheaper than ADSL in the future but is there anything else resembling the reliability of ADSL. All wireless I've tried before is a bit unreliable and sometimes downright frustrating compared to ADSL. Wish we had cable like oversea's or some other technology that could be just as stable without Telkom in the picture.

Dude, I just spent the last week in Pofadder and there is no ADSL or even 3G in this Droewors triangle. As tired as what I am tonight (was 10hrs on the road home), I'm so enjoying first world 384K bandwidth.

LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOO @ first world 384k

We are in 2010, not 1999 ... 384k only exists in 3rd world countries
