Hi,
I appologise if the answers to this setup have already been posted. I have an adsl router, 1 xp (home) pc and a 8 port switch. Currently everything is connected and is working fine. I would like my pc to have the same ip address as the adsl router so that i can access the pc from the internet (using no-ip.com or simmiliar). How can this be done? My pc`s address is 192.168.10.100, my adsl router`s ip is 192.168.10.200 (default).
Can this be done using nat on the router? if so how? Can this be done using pppoe on xp? if so how?
I have tried setting up a new network connection on xp, pppoe connection, using my adsl user/pass but it just says: opening wan miniport and then connection fails.
Will www.raspppoe.co.za do the job for me? As i understand it, the default xp pppoe should work without downloading any other drivers etc.

Any ideas?
