How do you keep the line active after setting up the ADSL ROUTER POTS to authenticate to the network?

I get everything right but then after some time with out any activity or the IP change by Telkom everything come to a halt.

If you have the Marconi 4 port router, enter the setup console and under the WAN setup page make sure that "automatic reconnect" is checked. Save and reboot.

I am using the older single port with a hub - I'll see if there is someting similar on this router and do a software update.
