Hi,

Question for all the smart ppl out there.

Is there an ADSL wireless modem, or router that can do some sort of quota management?

What I want to achieve is, for two people to be connected wirelessly to the an ADSL Wireless access point and to have some sort of management wrt usage.

This way we could share the costs, and not have one party taking all the MBs, and therefor no issues.

Feedback appreciated.

You could put a router into modem mode and then split the cost of the adsl rental and line. Buy your bandwidth individually from your preferred Isp and use PPPOE dialup from each PC with own Bandwidth .

Or you leave the router in nat mode and use the PPPOE passthough (billion have this feature available.) Make them use PPPOE dialup on their computers to connect.
