Hi

Very slow ADSL speeds in Scottburgh since 25th May?
Is there a problem at the exchange??

ISP (vox) says they are fine no problems at their side, rebooting router etc makes no difference

After resync I get good speeds for 1 min then is drops to 20KB/s on a 4MB line

I blame ...

Sucks to be you. You can very easily get behaviour like this if something on your network is moving a lot of traffic. When you disconnect, it stops, but it quickly recovers.

Disconnect everything from your router, change your wireless key, and then test with a new device that your network doesn't usually have (ie, not your virus infected laptop, your malware-riddled phone, your DDOS attracting xbox, etc). If all is well, then add your happy little devices back onto the network slowly, one by one until you find the culprit. :D
