Hi
I have a huge concern about people adopting ADSL previousily on Modems who don't know the inherent security risk by being online 24 x 7 with out adequate protection (Software or Hardware based).
I have raised this issue directly with Telkom who have taken the attitude it's the end-user's problem. They supply you with security Software with ADSL.
How many of you are on Windows 95 or 98 and haven't implemented anything. It can take less than two minute to compromise you machine if in adequate protect in in place. Trust me I know!
Be warned - There are not so nice guys out there!
Look at various options:
1) Software Solutions (e.g. Symantec)
2) Hardware Solutions (e.g. AlphaShield)
