ADSL setup

I have applied for adsl and would like to know if it is possible to set up if one doesn't know too much about pc's? What modem/router is the best (would like to run 2pc's and notebook)

If the notebook is wireless I would recommend a Netgear DG834G

It's actually quite simple.

You'll need a router, wired or wireless I quite like the Billion range and the 7202G is priced quite well for a wireless router, if you only need a wired solution, the 5102 is quite a capable unit

as for setting everything up, just go into the settings of your router (read the manual) and fill in your ISP username and password

Other than that, make sure that the following settings are set and you'll be ready to go

VCI : 35
VPI : 8
Encapsulating Type : LLC
Protocol : PPPoE
