adsl slow today?

is it just me or is adsl in Jhb area today as slow as a dead beaver being pulled behind a retarded snail??
 
ISDSL local is fine. I have not tried my SAIX or any international beyond basic browsing though.
 
Crawling along trying to watch some clips on Google Video, not having much success

What was it that DataPro did to you that has caused you such great annoyance? I've seen you belittle and slander the Company name in many of your posts...can it be rectified going forward?

clearly you've had a bad experience and still hold a grudge, but surely that's no excuse for the defamatory slandering of the company.

lol ag boet it comes a long way, i simply give my opinion, the purpose of this site is afterall as far as i know to get many people in IT's opinion so that newcomers and even old hands in IT can get other customer's experience and maybe some ideas of how to improve their own network situations and maby reduce costs or improve their networks. yah i dont have much good to tell someone about Datapro, i shall keep from saying anything negative and from now on simply refer to them as the one we do not speak of if that makes you happy?

i mean not to "deamatory slander" the company, just simply state my experience, various people have agreed with it so maby the fault is not by me.

Ive seen problems with the SAIX network since yesterday! Cant do 5hit, everything is stuffed. It took about 10 phone calls this morning to get them to tell me there a problem - each time its like 'eish no theres nothing wrong'

I hope they fire the guy that messed up that backbone router!
 
Saix is totally fracked is some parts of Cape Town today.
 
Apparently they will still sort it out today? (dont know if thats gonna happen)
Anybody have any idea how long its still gonna be?
 
I'm having issues downloading from various FTP servers - damned slow most of the time :(
