I know SNR has variations - what is normal and what indicates an issue?

I've been checking the last month and it's around 6.2-6.5.
In rain, this dropped to 5.8-6.0
This morning I'm 6.9-7.2.

So highest to lowest in the past week is 5.8 to 7.2 .... normal ?

My stable 10MB line varies between 8 (raining) and 13 (fine) so I guess variation is normal.

where are u located ,dolby
mines also like a jack in a box
but its mostly down the crapper again alatly

my max was 8db on 10mb and low was 4.8 on 10

and wasent even raing on both of those

but mostly sits at 6.5 if its normal, but haveing few probs atm

also whats your Att db,wondering as i want to know what the avg snr is for a 10mb on a 40db line :)

Had problems with the line dropping last year when my SNR dropped to 6dB when answering an incoming call, Telkom found a corroded joint in the line from the pole.

Current stats with 36dB attenuation:

I'm on Northriding on the 011 704 xxxx exchange - running at 20mbps from 10mbps.

I never bothered checking the stats at 10mbps, but at 20mbps I had some issues and started checking. My attenuation is something like 26db, which I think is very good. 4

But check disconnections.

I'm swapping the modem on the weekend and monitoring. Weird thing is I was at home yesterday 20:00 to 7:30 and not a single disconnection!!! Before and after though, I have this 11 in 30 minutes:
