ADSL Speed issues affecting Port Elizabeth Area

Shocking upload... after all this time Openserve still don't know why.
Upload speed is better than mine :p

Say... if you wouldn't mind uploading some files to the cloud for me?

+1

20mb and only getting 150kb/s on a unshaped capped account.

It's been happening since Sunday.

Ok, so openserve guy came around to check my line today as a fault was logged. He said to me that they received an email today saying that there is a global fault which is affecting some of the exchanges and they busy working to fix it, he didn't give a time on how long it will take to fix.

Thanks for that. Lets just hope it gets fixed soon.

 how does that work?

Happy to hear everyone is back up to speed.

Funny thing is same thing happened to cape town about a month back, wondering if its something to do with all the MSAN Upgrades at the exchanges, I know Greenacres area have planned upgrades tomorrow.

Walmer is better, but not fixed. Getting around 2.5 Mbps on a 4 Mbps line that usually got 4 Mbps.
