Anyone else experiencing slow DSL speeds in the PE area?

Confirmed the issue at 3 sites across PE...speed tests from 20-10Mb/s lines reading at only 1.3Mb/s across ISPs

Yes, same problem here. Quite a few posts about it in the Afrihost Capped Feedback thread

I know there was a fiber break between Kidds Beach and Wesley this morning that took down my fiber at work...But that seems fixed now

(Cable break on Kidds Beach to Wesley OFSO 01(48f) 11.63km from Wesley on 2017/10/17 at 08:32 affecting various transmission systems.)

There must be another issue affecting the city but Axxess says there is nothing on the OpenServe message board. Or at least the one that was there earlier today was ment to be repaired by 2pm today

Same here in Charlo, PE... 10Mb line achieving only about 1.5Mbps where I normally get 9.8ish Mbps... Vox Capped.

I'm in Lorraine with a 4mb line, only getting 0.5mb
Been like this since Sunday evening for me

Im in Sherwood getting the same issues, currently on a 40mb line.

That's just wrong, but at least you only have 10mb, makes me feel better :)

I suppose I could call telkom and get a speed bump... are you going to call them and make yours slower? :p

Was just about to create my own thread about this exact problem. I have a 20mb line and getting 1-2mb. In lovemore Heights.

Same issue in Charlo since Monday morning.
10MB line speed testing at 1.5MB
Axxess appears to know nothing about it and their line test tool in the control panel is not working

Almost seems like some sort of shaping. Youtube & Netflix are working 100% for me.
Trying to download a 50MB file from WeTransfer keeps timing out and failing

Issue still the same...This is ridiculous now, day 3 of this issue.
