Good day

I have applied for Telkom ADSL line for my flat, but telkom phoned to say there is no infrastructure in my street and they suggested me to use WCDMA.
when I checked on the website DSL coverage it shows that DSL is available at my address!
So I went back the Branch in Centurion to complain, they said they gonna call head office and call me back, obviously No one phoned me back.

Please, does anyone can assist with this issue, or advise me if I should try the WCDMA which is 2 years contract !?
Thank you

Abdul

Not unless it's a last resort. What area in Centurion are you in?

There might not be fibre optic cables to the block of flats but in the street itself. The fibre optic cable then goes to the telkom box which converts it to normal ADSL signal/telephone signal via a telephone pole or underground cable. the previous complex which I stayed in had this problem meaning the developer did not think that far to allow Telkom to put in lines underground to the min Exchange box near the flats.
