I have the pleasure of 2 other folks abusing our company
ADSL account, seems like the Radius server allows duplicate
logins.

1) So change your ADSL account password on a regular basis
to eliminate ex staff from using your account.

2) Get the ADSL report every week from your ISP and sort
of check your usage from the report against your own report.

Have not received the ADSL report for a while now
6th Dec 2004 ?

The Telkom Prolog account allows 2 logins, it's an advertised feature.

Usage reports going missing for days or weeks is unfortunately pretty normal for Telkom.

I got a report today, first one in over a week.
I was concerned that the last time the reports stopped my bandwidth was badly abused, but the time it looks OK.

Cheers
Chris

Monitor with 3rd party software

I personally use bandwidth meter, it is great cause it seperates Net use and internet usage. You can also( if you set the software up at work and u wanna know at home) u can set notifications, like it will email u on 2 gig usage and so forth.

Installed BWMeter, at the reccomendation of arrf9999, awesome bit of kit I am really impressed. Gonna mess around with it a bit and see if I can also track remote internet usage.
