adsl userstats... wtf?

k now I have 192k dsl @ home and get around 20k/s constant from most places. how long is it gonna take me to pull that amount?

first problem. I used a different account the whole weekend, from friday evening till sunday night to download a whole bunch of local stuff.

secondly, I get home at around 6 in the evenings and go to bed at 11.. pc goes off.

wtf?
 
Look at your online time column. 24 hours = 86,400 seconds.

Anything more than that means someone else is using your account.
 
hrm whats the quick and easy to change the password?
 
hrm wierd thing is the only people that know my password are the ones who emailed it to me.. my adsl router's is definately not admin/admin and definately not guessable..

:( (if it is the case that someones using my acc)
 
You can speak to Kavlaer it happened to him. Someone used his accout and he opened a docket.

Someone is using your account. The time online is > 24hours in one day. Does budgetadsl allow similtaneous logins? If not, you have a good argument to get them to credit you.
 
Look at the dates and IP addresses. 2 per day on the 18'th, 19'th and 22'nd.

Edit: Are you sure nobody had access to your e-mail? I use budgetadsl myself and haven't had a problem.

yeh, just got home, my dsl router says my ip is not the one that userstats says I have..
 
called telkom, they say they cant change the passwords for reseller sold accounts. mailed budgetadsl earlier but havent heard anything yet.. :(

still wondering how they got my pass, my router security is decent, never given it out, only people that know it are myself and the guy @ budgetadsl who mailed it to me.
 
still no response from budgetadsl guys, mailed two different address's.

once again I was somehow on for 137042 seconds and used 305 933 233 bytes... yay.
 
account password changed and was offered a temp account till the end of the month (which I declined as its almost the end of the month anyway)

they offered me an account to use till the end of the month which I feel was fair. I have absolutely no clue as to how they got my user pass.. I got a netgear router but its user/pass is definately not admin/admin and its definately not guessable. Account details were emailed to my work machine which no one has access to (non-windows OS).

still stumped..
