Hi.
We signed up for the home unlimited 10mbps bundle a couple of months ago. Since then we have had nothing but issues.
First, the agent that handled our 24 month contract loaded it completely wrong on the system and this took several attempts to have it sorted and till today it is still not 100% but it's close enough for us to live with it.
Second, the performance of the line ahs slowly been deteriorating over the last couple of weeks with it coming to a head last night. We could not do anything last nigh. We usually stream via the connection but last night we struggled just to get the google page to load. I sat for over 2 hours to try and get some kind of clarity or speed test done and when I finally got it done it registered less that 1mbps on the line. In fact it was 0.33 mbps.
Is there some issue in the Simon's Town area that we are not aware of or is this simply Telkom not being able to live up to the promise. I understand what best effort is but you need to also understand what reasonable expectation is. I will gladly drag your a**e to court to resolve this if I need to. I love the smell of a court room.
As you can see I'm a little cheesed off. An Telkom must not come and give me the throttling excuse because we have not used anything close to the required amount of data that would need throttling.
Thanks.
