adsl verification - order number issues

ok so im at the final hurdle.. Enter landline number with order number n click to verify adsl... But it doesnt happen. Saying theres an error with my order number the only number i got from telkom was an 8 digit code with the letter A at the end.. I got this when applying for the line, not when they sorted out the exchange. Is this the right code or can i call em for a new code?? Plz help..

I lost my order no once, phoned Telkom technical support and they gave my order no again

If it has an alpha character at the end (e.g. A) then it is still a reference number and not an ORDER number. Pester them until you get an order number - this is the biggest snag point at the moment as they are busy migrating to a new system and the conversion from ref to order is a problem.
