The ADSL LED will not have anything to do with your anti-virus subscription.

The ADSL LED indicates whether there is a connection between your modem|router and the [searchforum]DSLAM Port Card[/searchforum] [probably located at the local exchange]. If the ADSL LED is off, you need to call 0800375375 and select the fault reporting option, but be sure to check that only your ADSL modem|router is directly connected to the [ADSL] telephone line.

Is the normal analogue part of your ADSL line working and is the telephone handset plugged into a [searchforum]microfilter[/searchforum], i.e. do you get a dialtone?

PS: Welcome to MyBroadband :).

Thanks for the reply. As you mentioned above now the ADSL modem is directly connected to the phone line and i do get a dialtone but still no ADSL.

What did Telkodemonopolies' ADSL fault reporting department say when you called 0800DSLDSL?
