I am looking at installing ADSL at a new premises, but since I run on VOIP I don't need Voice, as I can route my voice calls through the VPN. Do I still need to take the voice portion, as I remember filling out a forum about Icasa possibly changing regulation around this?

Telkom still calls the shots. ICASA can't even regulate their own bowel movements. You gotta pay the voice portion.

Good luck with that - you still require the voice.

We've been complaining for years about it and nothing has changed.

Use the voice line for your fax machine... You're going to be paying for it anyway.
Fax over VoIP is a little iffy.
