My parents gave me a budget for internet of about R550 a month and i am n gamer not a heavy gamer buy like to play online do you have any suggestions to where i must look i also download movies but only about 5 a month i also want uncapped

They will throttle you like mad and you can only download torrents etc during night... So might not be one of the best choices. The best ISP out there atm would be vox and crystalweb I think.

You could utilise the midnight uncapped time to download your movies. So far this month from 1 -4th September (5-10 internet was down) I downloaded around 16 gigs of steam games from midnight. Could have downloaded more if I utilised the full 7 hours.

I'm with Telkom. and no you don't use your data when you download from 12am-7am.

You will require a DSL line to use any DSL services from any ISP in SA, including Telkom ISP.

You can also order your wifi router via Crystal Web, but it's not supplied for free, because, well, we don't hold you to a contract like some other ISPs. If you'd like a free router and a 24 month contract that can also be arranged by PM'ing me and we can talk.

But you can purchase your choice of router when you make a purchase on our website - all router options are provided on the sign up pages...

Depends on time of day usage. If big usage happens in midnight hours we really don't care too much. If however it's being used in business and consumer peak hours and heavily, it's going to be shaped far heavier and stricter. So there's no real set number. I believe that if a user abides by helping us keep the network in check, then we should do our part too...

Ok so under those conditions what data usage are we looking at approximately or what are the trends you are seeing for that package?
