anyone know of a modem/router that can take more than 1 username & pw. in the setup?
saves changing it each time i need to.
i actually have three accounts.

The easiest way to do that is to set your modem into bridged-mode, and create "dial-up" like connections from our desktop.
I used my router like that with about 5 accounts a while back.

Connection is mostly instantaneous.

It's also very easy to creat the dial-up connections for each ISP Account.

i prefer an "always on" connection for unattended downloads but i get your point. just wanted to know if there are any modems that have what i asked about anyway.

Wouldn't you then need to go into the web configurator to change to the different account? Otherwise not sure how you could distinguish between each accounts if they are stored in the router?

Bridge mode is the best and easiest, set to redial automatically if the connection ever drops. My connection drops maybe once/twice a month in bridge mode.

yeah. but maybe a radio button to switch bet accounts within the webconfig?
just a thought.

Hi,

In bridge mode, could it work to have say a day and a night account. Ie. During the day ISP 1 is used and at night, it auto disconnects and uses ISP 2? Obviously with a connection manager program...

Thx
