I concur with Ph03nix.

BMW and Mercedes does it at Zwartkops. Porsche is at Kyalami I reckon. Audi does it at Kyalami too.
I know that BMW and Merc also offers it in Jozie, but not sure where.

Someone told me a while back.

BMW if you drive a rear wheel drive.
VW and Audi for Front Wheel.

Open to correction.

I think most content from the courses is not car specific unless you go for high performance courses like M3 vs RS4...

True, they cover the same content for the most part.
However, there is a massive difference in handling when driving a FWD or RWD when you have high performance requirements. That said, for the insurance it just means "oh noes!," either way :D

Can anyone recommend a driving course I can have a look into, both for myself and the missus to attend, in the GP area.

I had a chat to my insurer the other day, and was asked if I've attended any sort of training, and this got me thinking about it a bit.

I had a look, and the ones that pop up most are the VW and BMW ones. Has anyone been on any of these recently? Your thoughts?

I'm looking specifically at the defensive driving type courses.

Did BMW and Volkswagen Both were awesome,

I have done quite a few different courses including the BMW, Audi, Driving Dynamics and some others. However the one I can recommend as being over all the best course I have done is Adrenalin Driving run by Vic Rich. Its held at the Gerotek facility.

Completed their course twice now and have no hesitation in recommending them
