Does anyone know of a driving academy that offers advanced driver training for beginners? The driving schools around my home are contravening road laws - and I mean the instructors. Parking on a controlled pedestrian crossing (with traffic lights) to run into Woollies for a snack, etc.

My youngest need training good enough for a Sprinter with double wheels and towing a single axle trailer.

AFAIK there is a lorry driving school in Epping. Why don't you call the traffic dept tomorrow and ask them, and mention your concerns
 
I have exhausted all options with the traffic department as well as with the MEC. There is no courage or will to really change the situation for the better. And this is not an ANC-led situation, one would have expected more, given the general mood of the country. There is chaos on the roads and nobody seems to care. I think it is better to get at least one driver trained properly and not add to the problem.

Anyhow, a former author of driver's education books used to offer such courses about 20-25 years ago but I cannot even recall his name, as we last saw each other around 1990.
