Adventure to Cape Town

So this Sunday we are taking a two week trip down to Cape Town for a wedding and I hope to
use my gear a lot more in the 2 weeks.

First we will be driving down to Beaufort West and staying in a B&B that was converted from the old SAA Airport. Then down to Oudsthoorn and Knysna and then down to Capetown and also a bit North up the Westcoast to Yzerfontein.

I will try and upload as we go if I get 3G coverage.

I took this one today on the West Coast near Darling of these Wind Power Turbines.
I actually asked the guy at the gate if I could take pictures from far and he said why not go in and go take some near them. I was smiling from ear to ear.

These blades are 62m long and they make the most amazing sound if you stand under them.

This was a 35 second exposure.

So arriving 3 days late from holiday due to hitting a ape on the N1 just past Colesberg and being stranded for 3 days I am finally home trying to get through some of the images I took.

This I took in Yzerfontein, Western Cape at the Harbour. I think this was about a 60 second exposure.

I like it. Maybe a bit cropped with less sky. Sky doesn't add anything at all to the image. I kinda like the image.
