Hi,

I'm allways looking at the fine print of MTN and Vodacom Adverts. And suprised was I when I noted a statement by MTN which is false. But not about themselves..

I wanted to Know why do they intend on calling Nw4 'Virtual' as if it makes any difference.. and putting down false information about them. They don't have 3g or HSDPA.

well, heres the link :

Saw that some time ago. Quite a while back. Do note that in the past you could access 3G/HSDPA with VM via VC. Was nice wile it lasted though :D So it was true, just not true anymore.

When was this advert placed?

...and apparently CellC & Virgin Mobile both have 3G & HSPDA. I wish someone would tell them.

Oh about 3 weeks ago. In the Record PTA east If I remembers correctly..

Wow :p Didn't know they could/want to downgrade from HSDPA to gprs lol

Yea...and apparently VC, CellC and VM does not have National EDGE representation.
And technically speaking CellC&VM Does also have 96% coverage - they use the VC towers too.

Hexsist, They did not downgrade. You could in the past use 3G/HSDPA on CellC/VM when you roamed on VC. And yes, if you Want to downgrade from HSDPA to GPRS it is possible, but stupid thing to do.
