Advice and prices on new machines

Hi guys need some help please:

Machine 1
Core i5
Ram
500 gig hard drive
case
Motherboard on board DVI + HDMI
Power supply

Machine 2
Core i5
Ram
500 hard drive
case same as above
Motherboard does not need onboard grpahics.
DVD writers in both
Power supply

15" monitor for server
24"monitor
1 x SSD 120gig

I'm guessing one machine is to be a server, the other is some kind of office machine (ie no gaming)? And you're looking for advice on the exact mobo, PSU etc you need to get? I dunno :confused:

Are you looking at 2 machines you want to buy? Are you looking to buy a complete PC? Or are you looking for components that will fill that vague requirements? If you can give a budget and tell us what programs the PC should run, that would be a good start.

Either way, if I'm thinking of office workhorse:
i5-3470
Any B75 motherboard (AsRock (HDMI + DVI) available at Rebeltech)
4GB 1333mhz RAM (depending on the programs, get 8GB)
500GB HDD
Any mATX or ATX case below R500 would be fine
PSU: The Gigabyte PoweRock 400W with 80+ Certification would be more than enough for R363 at Rebeltech
Any DVD ROM would do (R180)

Give a budget, if you want more specifics. Otherwise we can go crazy with expensive components :D
 
Judging from the title, I think the OP is asking about the price range of machines with those specs(?) :confused:
 
Yes but one is a server or does he just need the monitor for an existing server?

if the motherboard does not need onboard graphics what graphics card is it running?
 
Hey guys sorry been out most of day.
I need 2 x machines 1st machine has those specs listed at top and 2nd machine has specs listed second.
Both will be machines for work.
The reason the 2nd machine does not need onboard graphics is because we have a graphics card.
The other machine does not have a graphics card.
They will both be normal machines, must be fast, reliable and good products.

Not too sure what to look at but any advice would be appreciated.
the 15" monitor will be for the current server - already have it
The 24" will be for the 2nd machine

Honestly how you ask for help but give such little info lol. what are these computers doing?

Normal computers are not fast. They are entry level pc's for email and surfing, perhaps some light programs.

Lol, the G card is a Ati 7750, I intend to build it myself obviously.
Jeeesh am I not speaking English? :D

I said above they must be fast , stable, etc etc.

To me you may as well be speaking russian. I dunno about the other guys but budget, what the computers do and general information is the way we work. you have given us literally no idea of what you need or want and then ask if you are speaking english?

I need an engine for a car, it must super powerful and reliable. Basically that is what you did.

Phone rectron and tell them you want a fast reliable pc for something, they will quote you. esquire as well.

What about
Intel processor, core 15
Motherboard, gigabyte or Asus?
Ram? I dont care, perhaps minimum 8gig
On board graphics for one,
We have graphics card for the other
Power supplies? Anything that will run it properly
Case? I dont care as long as they look nice and have good air flow.
