Hi,
First i want to say i bought from then last year and had a good experience, but i purchased from them again this year and its turning into a nightmare.
I got 2 items from them, 1 i wasn't happy with i could only test it properly after 10 days, and they told me i can't return it because it's been more then 5 days....i feel like the description from manufacture was not very clear, and over whole it's a @#$ product so i can sort of understand them not wanting it back....(last week i also found it R500 cheaper at DIY electronic, so personally i also wouldn't take it back either, even though it would have been very nice of them).
My issue is with the other product, it is a smart mirror. they advertise it as "new" on the site, and only after i paid, they told me it's actually been used (used by cyberconnect themself) they promised me it's in mint condition and have all the parts, plus they will refund me 10%.
As it turn out, the plastic stand is missing, my plan is not to mount it to the wall, co currently even though the unit is working, i can't use it.
they confirmed they don't have the part.
But every request to return it, is being replied by "we are checking".
"threatening" to come and drop the unit off is being replied (if i am lucky to get a reply) by we still don't have the authorization to take it back.
I sent the request about a month ago.
So if you order from those people, please be warned:
1) it is probably cheaper somewhere else
2) return within 5 days
3) it might be a used product with items missing (they are honest pepole and will tell you AFTER you pay)
4) also something strange i picked up on the site the items i checked have this disclaimer:
All items subject to 1 month warranty. Extended 12 month warranty available at 20% of purchase price. t&c apply
not sure if it's legal ?but definitely something to be aware of.
sooo...how do i handle this?should i log a refund with the bank?i think it's the best route....
