Hey.

I am looking at upgrading my current PC. I have a thing that i try update every 3 years.
Time is due.
The biggest issue is that funds are a little tight at the moment.
I have about 6000 to spend.
Things i dont need:
1. Screen
2. Graphics card
3. Mouse and keyboard
4. Case

So all i really need is:
1. CPU
2. Motherboard
3. Memory
4. Hard drive

I am looking at getting:
http://www.computersonly.co.za/upgrade_kits.aspx?categoryid=40336 (the one for 5300)
and then just a nice fast 1TB drive.

Any other suggestions???

Thanks

Go Sandybridge. 6k is alot for the items you need, you could probably throw in an SSD instead of the hard drive.

Always useful to list what you have.

If you can stretch your budget a bit by another R300, you can get a decent cooler Coolermaster Hyper 212 Plus = R262.14. I heard the Intel stock cooler is not great.

Don't forget shipping:
Rebeltech should be around R150 Max
and Wootware (G.Skill 8GB RAM) should be R80.
So Total = R6300.
