Router is a Mega 105WR
I've been having some line problems recently, and in the process of trying to solve it, i've stupidly made random changes to settings on the router, which I think have ended up closing the ports necessary for some p2p downloads.

On uTorrent, the green arrow is present at bottom right (Network on), but if I run the Setup Guide Network Test, it shows: "Port not open(your are still able to download)", and speeds are low. I've forwarded the port (using portforward.com instructions), but does not change the message. I've also turned off the Firewall on the router - no change to the message. I've also turned off the Windows firewall (Win 7) - no change to the message.

Grabit has also slowed to almost nothing now, and yesterday, using altBinz instead, I managed to get much higher speeds. I suspect this might also be a symptom of a closed port (ie the port that Grabit's using is closed, but the port that Altbinz is using is not?). I've tried to forward Grabit's port, too, but with no change seen.

One other strange thing, which might be another symptom: Speedtest.net is giving me disgusting results (0.28Mbps), whereas gam.co.za gives me 2.58Mbps. Could it be that the port that Speedtest.net uses is also blocked?

I know very little about ports, can someone please instruct me, and tell me what i'm doing wrong here, and how i've broken the ports.

just reset the router at the back and do the whole port forward thing again.peace.

I've done as suggested, but this hasn't helped much. Getting the greenlight on utorrent, and this time with the message that port is properly forwarded (but only if i turn off the router firewall fully), and i know that port 563 (grabit ssl) is also forwarded properly (according to PP Port Checker), but something still blocking the speed to between 0 and 10kbps. Also speednet vs gam.co.za discrepancy still remains...

I just ran the mweb speedtest, which also checks TCP ports (http://speedtest.jhb.mweb.co.za/), and it tells me that TCP to client is closed. TCP to server is open, and UDP to both client and server are open. According to that speed test though, my speeds are okay. How do i open that tcp to client?
