Advice needed regarding fine

Hi everyone,

I have a question.

On the 4th of April 2014, I received a written fine as I was speeding ( apparently ).

The fine amounts to R600-00. Now I registered on Paycity aswell as View fines and for some reason or another this fine does not pick up on my ID Number whats so ever. The vehicle I got caught speeding in is registered in my name.

I also looked on Standard bank to pay the fine and also can not find it there.

Do you think I should pay this ? or do you think this fine is void or wasn't registered or something on the lines ??

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Stop asking uninvolved third parties like the bank or Paycity. Contact the issuing authority and speak to them directly. Anything else is a waste of time (though trying to get answer from the traffic dept can also take time).

It's a written fine which means they have proof you received it. Personally I'd pay it (had one two weeks ago). Paid at post office.

If all details are on and correct reg, ID etc pay or you'll go to court.
