Advice on 1Mbps Mweb account.

Is the 1Mbps Premium Uncapped ADSL (unthrottled) from MWEB, good enough to play dota2/online games and still have someone else using the net concurrently?

Taking into consideration that I want a lag free experience.

Plenty people here use MWEB 1Meg for online gaming. You should be 100%.

I'm on the same account. I enjoy my online gaming. The account is fine for gaming. It does lag if you are downloading torrents, aswell as playing online games, as well as someone else being on the net. But that is to be expected. IF you are playing and someone is online, depending on the time of day, it might lag a bit.

It should be fine. The gaming ports are unshaped as well so the person gaming should get priority over the person browsing the web.

1Mbps for online gaming is fine. 1Mbps while someone is browsing? You might get the odd stutter. 1Mpbs with someone streaming YouTube vids or downloading? I hope you like lag... (Unless you have your router set up just right in terms on QoS).
