Our fax has just packed up, so I'm looking for a new fax, but also a machine that can serve as a backup for our copier (that also does scanning and printing). Right now the copier is doing all four jobs without any redundancy.
I thought about this one, with a duplex scanner and printer, and networking built in. Anyone used Canon office products before? How's their reliability, running costs and ease of use?
My current copier can scan as PDF or TIFF, to our small FTP server, or directly to the FTP server application running on a few of our staff's PCs. I'd like something that can do this, and the other jobs, in the under R 6 000 category. Definitely not colour. A4 size.
Any suggestions.
