d90's video is useless
and yes, I do know how to lock the exposure, and can even get rid of the jaggy problem with a special After Effects "template" project

OK, I'm with you. I wouldn't buy a D80 or 5DmkII if I was looking for a video camera, but it's nice to have that HD option if you need to do a quick clip somewhere.
