My wireless ISP just provided me with some packages for internet provision, unfortunately he is also the only provider I can use since he is providing the wireless connection.
The question is, is this legal?
All the packages he has given me to choose from are based on a 12 month contract. In other words, to continue getting a service from him I must sign a 12 month contract for the data package. The contract also states that if I cancel the contract then I must pay the difference of the contract. In other words: if after 2 months I move to another town where he cannot provide me with internet, or if by some miracle Telskelm does set up ADSL in my town I have to pay back 10 months worth of subscription, or keep paying the monthly cost even though I am not using his service any more.
Is this legal? Can he do this to me?
Please, your advice is needed!
