Advice on Miracast

So backstory, I used to work on my desktop mostly using 2 screens and now I'm more mobile using my laptop and well I need 2 screens basically.

I was thinking of getting a Miracast adapter. Are they all the same? Will a generic Chinese one work as well as a name branded one?

Sorry, mate. I just don't know. I occasionally use Miracast from mobile to TV. It's a bit laggy so wonder whether it'd have sufficient performance for a second monitor.

No really worried about lag, this is more for work. Thanks will check it out, the current one is around 1k.

I bought one from Takealot a year ago. I returned within a week. As an IT guy, I couldn't get it working.

It was a cheapie Chinese one

Yeah, wanted some reviews from some peeps. I don't want some Chinese variant that just decides not to work.

Might buy it and ship through Aramex. Who knows, maybe MS SA will help me out...
