Advice on picking TV Tuner card....HELP

My dumb maid just broke my tv and instead of getting a new one I think ill rather get a tv card that allows me to watch/record dstv on my pc. Any suggestions????

I heard the Hauppauge WinTv PVR and the Sapphire Theatrix PCI TV Tuner Card are good buys.....anyone use Compro VideoMate S350??

Just make sure you can return the thing if it is not working for you. Got one from a store in Cresta, and had major problem tuning it in.

Have a look at the "tv tuner card" thread

The Compro may not be quite as good as the Hauppage or ATI but it provides good value for money and offers far better quality then most of the other cheap cards.
