Advice on Samsung Tablet p7500

The wife's cell contract is up upgrade an d she is looking at getting the S2 on it's own Business Call R269pm x 24
vodacom also have "special" where you get S2 + 10.1 P7500 for R499.

So crunching numbers:
R230 pm for the tablet x 24 = R5520
The tablet says it is 3G model

I have the cash to buy a tablet now, is this deal worth it or should I wait for Transformer Prime?
Will ICS be avaialble for this tablet?

Take into account the data bundle with the tablet, I got mine for R369 a month with 2 gigs of data which looking at their price plan means I am essentially paying R20 for the tablet a month. Or I can look at it as R185 each etc... Yes ICS is coming to the GT Tab

Are the tabs network locked with vodacoms sim or can you sit another sim in there like form MTN?
