Okay, need to vent a little before I chew my hands off... :wtf: and also note I don't know allot about wireless so don't go flaming at me, just want some help.

Right, so the one reason I have wireless is to play online games, of which WoW is my choice of poison, all I need is a steadyish connection that remains stable throughout the year. My WoW ping has gone from a breezy 450ms for most of this year...down to +1300ms the last 2 weeks. So nothing has changed AT ALL on my system during that time and the wow servers are running at usual speeds. Who am I suppose to be blaming here? the weather? myself? the gods? what? I just really would like some suggestions about what I can do to fix this problem or at least improve it a little.

Oh and also. I've tried getting the bloody dashboard to work but it refuses to believe I have any sort of connection. :wtf:

Anyone that can provide me some insight, I would really appreciate it.

Firstly: 3g or Neotel or iBurst? Wireless is not good for gaming, but it can be done. Wireless signal gets broken by water, so any trees, rain ect would probably affect your speeds and ping. So kill all the trees around you. Or maybe get one of those extender antennas installed for 3G...they work miracles....but expensive.

Best would be: Get ADSL. Wireless especially 3g is just a nightmare all around, unless you need to be portable.

Oh sorry IBurst...

I am rocking an unidirectional antenna and I have also experimented with single direction one. It's just not great how I go from something I really was happy with, to something this frustrating.

Oh and took this contract over from family member, who is kindly still paying for it. Otherwise I would've gone with something like ADSL. Just need to make the best of this now.
