Over the past 4-5 week I would almost daily get a call from an unknown number. As soon as I answer it, that person terminate the call.

It gets irritating. What can I do about it?

Download an app called "WhoIsCalling" , it reveals all hidden numbers.

Dependant on your phone, you can install a blacklisting app, which blacklists numbers, private, phone book or any entered number.

You should find something free available as well.

I have a callblocker installed, it simply prevents unknown numbers from reaching me.

It's almost certainly an autodialer - had the same issuea earlier the year, turned out to be a telemarketer.

And that's problematic when someone wants to reach you, say your employer, etc.... businesses often have their caller identity restricted.
