advice required

getting 2% of signal form Huleyvale Tower approximately 3.5KM away.
I have tried moving around the modem and its aerial and also pringle can and patch antenna from NoWire.
and I never found it more than 2%.

got any advices for me to improve my signal?

Find out exactly where the tower is and try to find a place where you can point the pringles can antenna direclty at the tower without looking through a wall.

i have found that bricks really disrupt signal, but glass does not, so if you can put it in a room with a window looking towards the tower it might work

Also remember to move the pringles can up and down , aswell as side to side to look for signal

Also some guys have gotten good signal with the nowire antenna in the roof above the modem, with the wire comming through a small hole in the ceiling ( the higher you can get the antenna the better )

Else you may need a external antenna

www.poynting.co.za sell then as a kit ( grid antenna + pigtail ) for about R1600, but you need to have it installed or install it yourself and buy cable to connect it which runs at about R40 per meter of cable
