Advice. UCG-Ultra or DIY OPNSENSE

Seeing that there is a few people on both sides of the fence here .
I have 1Gbps Fibre ,My current router doesn't support. so looking to replace.
In your opinion what would you suggest .

Wait for the UniFi Cloud Gateway Ultra
or
DIY a OPNSENSE router using a mini pc.

My Current setup is as follows.
1 X Reyee RG-EG210G-P (Also used to power my AP's)
2 X Reyee RAP2260(G) (AP's)

I am in the unifi ecosystem so I would (and am) wait for the UCG-Ultra

Since you’re running Reyer it might make more sense to do OPNsense or even Mikrotik

I see some folks are having issues with the UCG-ultra and the screen being skew.
Not sure if this affects your decision making but worth noting.

yeah seems to be QC issues - the device itself works well but the alignment is dodge... bizarre

Yeah i still have some time , I see ETA is June 2024 . I have to be honest , i do like what i see on the UCG. The only issue i have with it is i still need to power my AP's somehow .

The Going Idea at the moment was OPNsense + Zenarmor.
I had a minipc but the guy dropped out . so i need to look for one with dual nics again .
Doesnt seem to be an easy thing to find .

Get a micro ATX board and small case, use these guys for a NIC, they also do dual NICs:
