advice with autopage cell c iphone contract

I was on a cell c contract at R199 per month which was
due for an upgrade. autopage had a special for the iphone 5 s were u get 100 mins and 1 gb data for R499 per month. I decided to upgrade. I was told I would pay my current rate of 199 per month till march. and then when my original contract expires, then the rate of R499 would have to be paid by me for 24 months. but i would still receive all the data and mins as advertised. I have just started using my new phone. but only have 100 mins and 100 mb data. now autopage tells me that is what I will get per month till march. and only when my old contract expires and I start paying the R499 per month will I receive the 1 gb of data per month.
are they allowed to go back on their word. what happens if in march they say that 1 gb data special is over. and how am I supposed to use the iphone in the mean time with only 100 mb data per month. any advice would be appreciated please.

They won't do that. You signed up for the 1gig package so that's what you will get. Just stuffed up that it's only happening in march.

It's irrelevant what they said. What you signed for on the contract is what you will get. Does it explicitly show that you will get 1 GB per month for 24 months?
