I have a Samsung Series 5 HD TV, PS3 and a standard DSTV decoder.

Scenario: I want to upgrade to a HD PVR decoder with a decent sound system aswell.

Problems:
I live in a flat so the satellite LNB cables are fixed and I cant alter them. Can I use the HD PVR decoder with the single LNB I am currently using with the standard decoder?

Any suggestions for the sound system? Preferably Samsung so I can stick to same make as the TV. Best configuration taking into account everything?

PS3, HD PVR and the sound system (DVD Player) via HDMI into the TV then use the TV's optical audio out into the sound system? (Hopefully the TV will be able to control the volume of the sound system).

Any suggestions? Budget for the Sound System is R2000 and must be from GAME as ill get a voucher from there.

The pvr needs a special LNB for the features to work. It needs to get at least two signals from the dish so it can record a channel while you watch another.

best bet is to strap a dual LNB dish to your window bars and hope to god you can see north -> north-east.
