Don't suppose anyone has suggestions on a hosting company that offers locally hosted VPS servers?

We are planning to move our web hosting clients to our own shores, but I really do not want to sign up for a reseller account. We would like to run a CentOS (possibly CloudLinux) with cPanel for management.

Requirements are flexible, but I quite liked the 2 vCPU option at Mweb, with 100GB disk space and 4GB RAM

Initially I wanted to get up and running with Mweb's virtual hosting, but they only allow Win2k8 or Ubuntu.

So far I have checked:
MWeb
WebAfrica (I cringe at the thought. And they anyways only seem to have Dedicated, not virtual)
Elitehost
MTN Business (not too keen on anything that is MTN at this stage)

Any suggestions? Anyone to avoid?

Depending on when you have to make a decision, VPS.net is set to launch their South African location "by August", so presumably by the end of the month.
If they're able to offer the same bandwidth then those prices are good.

I guess we'll still have to wait and see what initial feedback is like, but I've used their platform before (UK location), and it works really well.

...I can wait :p

I have also used them before; US as well as UK. Was really not too bad at all.

Will be interesting to see what they offer to us though, and at what cost.
