Morning all, where do I buy compressed air cans to clean my laptop keys without having to get a bank loan first!!! I pay now R150 at IC in Westgate:cry:

Just drive to the garage and use their compressed air :D I've done that with my case before going to lans. Just make sure to hold the fans as it's quite strong.. :D

Thanks, I hear its full of microscopic oil particles from the compressor pump ? Not too good for a laptop?

Camera shops sell them, like Orms. Last I paid R75 for a medium sized one, and they are probably as pure as you can get for a decent price as they are used to clean lenses, sensors etc.

Next time you stop at the garage for petrol etc use their air.

I suppose that could be a possibility, but i'm not sure.. The next best thing would be a Camera shop as stated previously..

Nothing that a good set of upstream filters and refrigeration dryer can't sort out ;)

Been using this on all manner of equipment for a long time, however don't believe you will have that setup at your typical garage used to pump tyres.

I gave up with air cans many years ago, and bought a reasonable compressor instead - works very well, and can use it for other applications around the home...

Using a electrical hand blower - very strong and gets the job done, much more economical in the long run and I have 6 pc's to clean monthly. Get it at any Brights/local hardware store.
