It would appear that Toga have withdrawn. Most Togolese players have said that they don't want to play, including Man City's Adebayor.

Midfielder Richmond Forson believes the number of injuries could have been much worse had the gunmen not originally fired on the wrong bus.

''It was the bus carrying our baggage which was in front of us which they fired on the most,'' he told Canal Plus. ''They thought we were in the bus in front.

Talk about lucky.

I cannot speak from experience, but I am aware that truckers sleep/stop their trucks on the main road. Not on the verge, but on the road itself. Why? Because they are scared of undetonated land mines which still exist in the country.

Apart from the landmines, poverty and petty crimes which exists in the cities, I hear their is rampant banditry in the rural areas. Cabinda is unsafe.

Not the best country to elect to play the Afcon!
