Affidavit needed for lost Driver's License ?

Hi Folks

I searched for this and only found info from 2020 so I'm looking to confirm if, now in 2023, do you still need a police affidavit if you lost your driver's license card and need to replace it.

Nope, you can even have two (or more) at the same time.

That's also solved by applying for a temp licence (because you receive it instantly), or by keeping the proof of a licence renewal application in your car.

Just get one in case. You don't want to stand in a queue for an hour only to be told when you get to the front that you need it.

A sample of whose affidavit? If you still asking in relation to the drivers license, no, but it's still advisable to do it just in case.
